The Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program (SAVI) is dedicated to validating, healing and empowering survivors and their supporters to lead safe, healthy lives through advocacy, free and confidential counseling, and public education.
The annual benefit was held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at The Loeb Boathouse Central Park, New York City. The event co-chairs were Lizbeth Conboy and Kristin Yorke. The honoree were the creative team behind the hit Broadway musical Waitress: Sara Bareilles, Composer/Lyricist, Lorin Latarro, Choreographer, Jessie Nelson, Book Writer and Diane Paulus, Director. At each performance, Waitress inspires audiences with the powerful message of resilience and new beginnings, touching survivors of domestic violence as well as their family and friends.
We also honored Kareem Peat, who is the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Investigations at Cornell University, a Lead Title IX Investigator for the University, and a former SAVI Advocate, for his fair and impartial work promoting gender equity at the University and his commitment to the overnight shifts while a member of SAVI.

The 10th Anniversary Greening Our Children was held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Greenwich Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. It celebrated the Mount Sinai Children's Environmental Health Center (CEHC) and the many ways it is changing how we think about children's health. The CEHC conducts innovative research around the world to identify chemical, physical, nutritional and social factors affecting children's health and future development.
