The Dubin Breast Center of The Tisch Cancer Institute provides a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to breast cancer screening, treatment and survivorship. Located at Mount Sinai Hospital’s main campus on New York City’s Upper East Side, the 15,000-square-foot facility houses a full range of services, including cancer screening and biopsies; cancer treatment including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation; wellness; patient and family support services; education; genetic counseling and testing; onco-fertility services; access to clinical trials; and survivorship support.
In particular, some unique features of Dubin include:
- Dubin does a significant amount of work with underserved populations. Nearly 25% of Dubin's patients are on Medicaid and all patients receive optimal care regardless of ability to pay. Because of this, philanthropy is critical.
- There are currently 14 clinical trials open, with five more pending final approval and/or site initiation.
- In 2017, 43 patients were enrolled in a therapeutic clinical trial.
Representing a bold vision for breast cancer treatment and research, Dubin focuses on the holistic health and well-being of individuals with or at risk for cancer.
Thank you in advance for your support and happy holidays to all-
Vanessa
