Office of Special Events

The Mount Sinai Office of Special Events is responsible for the major fundraising and cultivation events of Mount Sinai Health System. The office is comprised of event professionals who work with our physicians, scientists, donors, and friends to create unique strategic events to maximize support for Mount Sinai Health System.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 positivity rate in New York City and other key factors. We will observe CDC guidelines, NYS and NYC restrictions, and Mount Sinai policies. Event details may be subject to change. More information will be communicated prior to the event.

The 38th annual Mount Sinai Health System Crystal Party took place live and in person on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Central Park Conservancy Garden. The event celebrated achievements and milestones across our eight member hospitals and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

We recognized the 21st Annual MS Center Gala benefiting the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis and Mount Sinai on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at The Plaza Hotel. It was wonderful to come together for the first time since 2020 as a community supporting the Center’s mission to help make a positive change in the lives of those we serve.

We are honored to recognize Maria and Gaetano Muzio as this year’s Clifford H. Goldsmith Award Recipients for their longstanding commitment to championing the Center’s work in treating patients with diseases that affect the central nervous system beyond MS. Thanks to Maria and Gaetano’s vision, our Center has become a leader in the study and treatment of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody associated disease (MOGAD), autoimmune encephalitis, and neurosarcoidosis. Though rarer than multiple sclerosis, NMOSD and MOGAD can be just as disabling as MS and often affect our patients from underrepresented groups that are disproportionately affected by lack of access to quality medical care, leading to poorer outcomes.

The annual gala remains critical to our ongoing efforts to fund comprehensive and imaginative care for all who walk through our doors at the CGD Center. To make a contribution to the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis, please click here.
