Office of Special Events

The Mount Sinai Office of Special Events is responsible for the major fundraising and cultivation events of Mount Sinai Health System. The office is comprised of event professionals who work with our physicians, scientists, donors, and friends to create unique strategic events to maximize support for Mount Sinai Health System.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 positivity rate in New York City and other key factors. If we can safely hold an in-person event we will observe CDC guidelines, NYS and NYC restrictions and Mount Sinai policies. The event details may be subject to change. We will require all attendees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination. More information will be communicated prior to the event.

Our mission is to assure outstanding comprehensive patient care through expert up-to-date knowledge, heartfelt compassion, and cutting-edge research in order to provide exceptional experiences and outcomes for all patients.

Our unique model of care includes state-of-the-art programs in diagnostics, disease management, experimental therapeutics and research, as well as specialized support services and rehabilitation. Through basic science and groundbreaking clinical trials, the Center is working to translate new discoveries into effective therapies, eventually leading to a cure for a disease that affects 2.8 million people around the world.

The mission of the Prostate Cancer Program within the Milton and Carroll Petrie Department of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is to eliminate prostate cancer through outstanding programs that integrate patient care through the Deane Prostate Health Center, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.

The 2021 Prostate Cancer Research Gala honored our Chairman’s Urology Board. Their incredible commitment of time, philanthropy, and advocacy has made possible lifesaving programsdriving research into early detection and improved treatments for our patients at Mount Sinai and prostate cancer patients around the world. In lieu of an in person event, we premiered a video celebrating the many accomplishments of the Deane Prostate Health and Research Center, the most prolific of its kind in New York City.
