The mission of the Prostate Cancer Program within the Milton and Carroll Petrie Department of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is to eliminate prostate cancer through outstanding programs that integrate patient care through the Deane Prostate Health Center, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.
The 2021 Prostate Cancer Research Gala honored our Chairman’s Urology Board. Their incredible commitment of time, philanthropy, and advocacy has made possible lifesaving programsdriving research into early detection and improved treatments for our patients at Mount Sinai and prostate cancer patients around the world. In lieu of an in person event, we premiered a video celebrating the many accomplishments of the Deane Prostate Health and Research Center, the most prolific of its kind in New York City.

The 2022 Jacobi Medallion Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. The Jacobi Medallion is one of the highest honors that the Mount Sinai Health System bestows upon current or former colleagues.
