I hope this finds you and your loved ones well and safe in these challenging and unprecedented times. As you all know, I have spent the last 8 years raising critical funding for The Mount Sinai Health System. I must say, I’ve never been more proud to work here. Mount Sinai is being relied on more and more each day by sick New Yorkers, and our frontline health care workers and researchers are stepping up and answering the call with true bravery and great dedication. It’s an extraordinary time, and we need your help. We need to give our frontline heroes the protective equipment to do their jobs safely. We need funding to buy the necessary ventilators to save as many lives as possible. We need to bolster and increase our testing capabilities from 1,000 to 2,000 tests daily.
And, in order for the world to go back to some version of normal, we need funding to support our scientists’ round-the-clock efforts to find treatments and a vaccine. As a society, we only go back to normal when we know how to treat this. The research and treatments coming out of Sinai will shepherd the nation back to living our normal lives safely.
Join me at whatever level you're able and be a part of this herculean and awe-inspiring effort to save lives now and in the future. Also, please share this far and wide with your network!
With my gratitude,
