My name is Moy (Moshe) Kasman. I am from Israel and I have a dream! My dream is to run the New York City Marathon.
March 15th, 2020, the day we started quarantine in Israel, I was meant to celebrate my 50th birthday. My wife and children prepared a day full of fun activities that of course, were all canceled. On that day, I discovered that this year is also the 50th anniversary of the New York City Marathon, and I decided I must participate!
I thought it will be amazing if I can gain my entry to the New York City Marathon by raising money for a charity.
As a father of 2 boys which one of them was born prematurely 9 weeks ahead of time weighing 2.2 pounds, I immediately connected to TEAM ANDI’s cause.
When I read the story of Andi, I was thrown back in time to 2007 when my son Noam was born. We spent two months at the NICU facility looking at him while he was in an incubator connected to various tubes and pipes. We were so glad that after a month we were allowed to hold him and feed him from a bottle for 5 minutes…
I totally understand and sympathize with the feelings of Andi’s mother. I cannot imagine a better cause to raise funds for.
It would be an honor for me to run my 4th marathon wearing TEAM ANDI’s logo. Being able to fulfil my dream while helping TEAM ANDI would be a very meaningful 50th birthday.
Thank you in advance for your support of my fundraiser.
