On August 28, 2018 the day after my birthday, I was notified by The Dubin Breast Center that my mammogram was abnormal and I needed further testing. After the completion of my biopsy it was discovered I had early stage breast cancer. I endured two surgeries and radiation treatment followed by oral chemotherapy treatment. On July 21, 2023 I reached my marker on being 5 Years Cancer Free! I complete my oral chemotherapy treatment February 2024. The journey was long however, with the support of the doctors at the Dubin Center, my family and friends I’ve achieved a 5 year milestone.
